gtkpod

First buy ipod, second find program to speak to ipod. I thought it was going to be a difficult task but there seem to be alot of linux programs out there for using with your ipod. Gtkpod looks nice and works well and is very similar to itunes (although obviously very different for copyright reasons!)

start up comand $ gtkpod

top tip

• Rember you have to mount your ipod before gtkpod will be able to see it. It likes to have it mounted in /media/ipod 
• Remeber if you have mounted your ipod as root you will also need to run gtkpod as root.
